Sharp pain under ribs FTM

Today at work I started experiencing some very sharp pains under my ribs. The baby was moving a little but I have never had pain with movement before. It almost felt like it could have been contractions but I heard Braxton hicks are relatively painless. This was painful and hurt more when I sat down. The pain went in and out for about an hour before it subsided finally. Any ideas what this could have been????

I get this sometimes too. It's usually after dinner when I'm pretty full. Thinking sort of indigestion?  Was this after lunch maybe?

Ive had this problem before. I just layed back on some pillows to where i was still sitting but there wasnt pressure on my rib cage. I drank lots of water and waited it out. When i talked to my doctor later he said it was just cramps from my body ajdusting and there wasnt much other then what i did to prevent them. But if u are concerned def notify ur doctor and he/she may be able to give u better advice.
