Stressful morning..

I'm 39yo & almost 7 wks with my first pregnancy (with the help of IVF). I've had 2 ultrasounds & seen the little heartbeat. I've had minor cramping all through the 7 wks.

This morning I've had a small brown dot of blood when wiping after urination.

Call my IVF clinic, who reassured me that this is normal, not to worry but just keep an eye on it. I expected this response..

But I'm still stressing.. So hard to function 'normally' when all I can think about is this tiny, wonderful life inside me..

I'm 37 with my first. I'm 10 weeks. I've had cramping the whole time. Had my first ultrasound on Wed. And I bled for a few days after the ultrasound. But everything's ok. From what I hear if it's heavy bleeding and painful cramping then start to worry.

Already booked for Monday. I've been pretty calm for all of this but for whatever reason I just freaked out this morning.

Spotting seems to have stopped for now, but will still mention to Dr when I see her.

Thanks for your kind words.. I've kept close to home and relaxed. I told my boyfriend & he was fantastic. You're both right but sometimes you need to hear it a few times before it sinks in.

the more you stress the more strain you're putting on your baby. trust in your doctor's, and just relax and take it easy :)
