Got mine best thing you can do for your child is protect them from day one I feel this is just one of those things I also can be assured I won't be taking my child in for whooping cough my son got rsv when he was only a month old it was the scariest thing I had to go through sitting in a hospital while my son had to suffer and struggle
My doctor said its not safe during pregnancy! My SO got his and ill get mine after baby is born she will get the immunity from me breast feeding
I got mine...if it can prevent my child from becoming ill i feel its important to get!
Im not going to get it. The prevalence in my area is unknown or unclear, so I will wait until baby is old enough to get his own shot. I do not feel comfortable being vaccinated whilst pregnant. The current 3 in 1 tdap shot isn't only for whooping cough as advised to us but for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis.
I got my tdap a week ago. It's not to protect you. It's to protect baby. Baby can't get the Tdap until they are older abs it contains the pertussis vaccine. Pertussis is on the rise and can be fatal to an infant if they get it.
