I've had the worse insomnia. My dr prescribed unisom to help me and although it's doctor prescribed I still get paranoid about taking medication. Has anyone taking this as a sleep aid during pregnancy and had any crazy safe effects, issues or complications???

By the way there's no side effects or complications! I'm 33 weeks now and my baby is very healthy and active!

My doctor told me to take benedryl to get sleep (not every night). I don't like taking pills but take one every few weeks when I feel desperate for sleep.

I took Unisom most nights during my first trimester because I was so sick and couldn't sleep. Helped calm the nausea and put me to sleep. It's nothing too strong. Just helps!
