I have a c section scheduled for may 5th. Im so nervous and excited this will be my first baby and first ever surgery! Im just hoping I can get thru the recovery without any complications im so nervous but then I think about seeing my baby and it makes it much better. Any advice on c section recovery??

Wear the abdominal binder as soon as possible!  Helped so much with my pain. It supports your abdominal muscles after surgery. I wore mine about 2 weeks. I've had 2 csections. Trying for vbac this time. Best wishes mama

Thanks for the advice! I already have one scheduled because he is breech and they tried to turn him but it didnt work. Hes pretty comfy how he is so hes prob not going to flip on his own. I cant wait to meet him tho <3

My c-section is scheduled for may 8th. This will be my third & final c-section.  Get up & start moving as soon as possible. My other advice is to stay on a schedule with the pain meds for a few days, at least. It's harder to get the pain under control again once it reaches a certain level.

My c section is scheduled for April 28, 5 more days. My little guy is breech.

I feel you. I too have have my c section scheduled for 8th may tho there is a slight chance of hvng it preponed due to a mild rise in my blood pressure. Its my first baby too & im scared. Really hoping that everything goes off smoothly & i recover well. Its exciting yet scary.

Oh just look at it this way.  You will have your baby in your arms for your first mothers day.  :-)

I chose to get the C-section because I'm also getting my tubes tied.... so they set the date!!! @sunshinehoney

How come they set ur c-section already???
I know when u have 1 u usually will have to have them each time...im due may 15th n was a csection candidate because of my pkacenta...there is a possibility i will deliver vaginally...i find out Friday...

Just relax take it easy get some rest during recovery but my C-section went fine for my first... Our children are blessing so it's way worth it!!!! My C-section is scheduled for May 19th... Good luck!!!!!
