I had one last week and it was soooo painful. I took baths in Epsom salt and got a prescription from my dr after it started bleeding. 3 days of using the cream and it felt much better. I used tucks pads as well. I tried preparation h before the prescription stuff and it didn't seem to do much. I can not believe how bad they can hurt!

You are welcome.  I guess we know where the saying comes from "a pain in the a@$".  :-)

Try witch hazel, warm baths with Epsom salt.  And of course tux pads.

They will relieve symptoms but they never really go away until maybe after birth or being removed surgically.  It's basically your veins stretched out in your rear.

Sorry couldn't be of more assistance.:-(
