I got my rhogam shot at my 28 week appointment last Tuesday. Needless to say, I was very suprised when I found out they put the shot in your butt cheek!

Rohgam is given to expecting mothers when their blood has rh - antigen. When your partner is rh positive the baby will probably end up with rh positive blood that can't mix with your blood. Your body can become rh sensitized and could try and attack your fetus red blood cells

But yes. Typically you get it in your 28th week.

I'm  getting mine next week at 30 weeks, bc they didn't even test me until my 28th week and said as long as I get it writhing 2 weeks of being tested then I'm fine. I even told them I was rh negative so I wish they would've already done it bc I had to schedule a whole other appointment and my docs office is 30 minutes away. Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do. Lol

You would get it at 28 weeks and after delivery as long as there was no bleeding throughout the pregnancy. :)
