HCG level decrease

I am 9 weeks 6 days pregnant and my Dr. office just called to give me my levels.  My beta went down from about 80,000 to 60,000.  They are telling me that this happens during 9 to 10 weeks.  Has this happen to anyone else?  Has anyone heard of this.  I am starting to get worry.

It sounds to me like your doctor feels this is perfectly normal.  I would not worry!  I've read that it is normal for that to happen.  I would try not to listen to advice from random strangers over what your doctor is telling you!  I made that mistake on my first pregnancy, and worried unnecessarily over a lot of stuff!  If your doctor feels good about things, then I would go with that!  Best of luck!

I was ok today until someone sent me a private message saying that it is most likely going to be a miscarriage.  I called and left a message with the clinic to see if they will do an u/s.  I need reassurance.  I am so stressed right now.

I do know that your levels peak at a certain point and then start to decrease, but I'm not sure exactly when that happens.  Maybe you could google it and see?  If your doctor isn't concerned, I wouldn't be either.  :)  Good luck!

I'm sorry, My levels haven't been checked again that I'm aware of, They did a lot of blood work at my 10 week apt but I don't know if the beta was one of them or not.

If your doctor isn't worried then I don't think you should worry. As long as your not bleeding or anything like that try to relax!!

I hope someone else can relate and ease your mind!! Good luck
