Slight drop in Hcg level

Hi everyone, I just joined this forum as I was reading several stories and saw how much support was here. Long story, here goes.....I had my first m/c 02/06 they did an ultra sound after heavy spotting and found no sac, my body took care of it naturally. I was pregnant by 05/06 and had a completely healthy pregnancy and have a now 2 year old daughter 02/07. I was pregnant again in 09/08 and ended up m/c with Blighted ovum and had to have a D&C 11/08. So, I am now pregnant again, approx 5 weeks with lmp of 02-08-09. The doctor precsribed Progersterone for me once I found out I was pregnant and they are oral tablets. I have had normal early pregnacy symptoms but....My first hcg was 03-09-09 it was 30, then 03-12-09 it was 92, then03-17-09 it was 245, then 03-19-09 it was 204. I called the nurse to get the results because my doc isnt in on Fridays, and she just told me she was very sorry and that there were notes that my doc would call me over the weekend. Should I be worried? I have no m/c symptoms and still all of the pregnancy symptoms. Is it possible that the Progesterone is causing the pregnancy symptoms and preventing my body from m/c naturally? Or is it possible that I still have some hope for this one?

Thank you so much for your responses, I still have no signs of m/c, and no spotting and feel pregnant. The doctor was supposed to call this weekend, but still have heard nothing. This is so different from my other m/c because I also spotted. Thanks again...

im sry you are going threw this I know it is very hard I had a m/c in NOv.08 and my HcG levels were dropping slightly every 4 days so I knew i had m/c... but I am no expert on HcG levels and I cant tell u that u r or u arent having a m/c but I am praying you will have a miracle baby :0) I know how hard it is esp. to think about it day after day until u get the results and pray that those numbers keep going up sry i wasnt any more help like i said im no expert ur in my prayers :0)

I am sorry that your HCG level dropped.  Usually that is not a good sign.  The number should always be going up and they like to see it go up by 66% every two days or double every three days.  This has never happened to me so I do not want to give you wrong information but I wanted to respond since no one else has yet.  It could be  a chemical pregnancy.  But I hope there's a miracle and your pregnancy will continue.  You are in my thoughts.
