Appt today!

Had another appt today, still stuck at a 2 and baby head still extremely low. I hate when OB gives u so much hope though and gets you so anxious and looking fwd to things only to see them back the next week and they say the same thing. She just told me "all i need is a strong set of contractions and it should push me right there" well i DTD twice and had strong ones and NOTHING! UGH im so ready for bby boy to come. I cried as soon as i left the office. Lol i was so upset. It feels like baby is just putting me through pain and not advancing any.

Dont be too hard on yourself. I just expressed how exhausted I was with thr pregnancy and she performed a membrane sweep to help induce normal labor. I am 39 weeks and have been bleeding but only a few contractions here and there. I am at 3cm so I will most likely be induced this Thursday morning if baby doesn't arrive on her own.. Just relax and enjoy this last week of your pregnancy and having her all to yourself inside you. Take pics and take lots of naps. Dont let the anxiety get to you =) good luck and keep us posted!

I'm 2 days overdue, 2.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I used to get Braxton Hicks contractions all the time but the last couple weeks when I could really use them I've got nothing. It's so frustrating!!

How far along are you?  I feel the same way. I start having contractions and then time them and think okay maybe this is it but it never happens. I am only 1cm and my midwife said about 10% effaced and the baby's head is still high up :-( I will be 38 weeks tomorrow.
