ocular migranes??

Yesterday I had my second occular migraine and I'm still feeling the pain... Right at the beginning my sight in one eye goes blurry and flashy and is limited. It's pretty scary. Anyone else able to relate to this?

First off I've had ocular migraines for years. Secondly, it just happens that I'm an opthalmic nurse. These are so common in pregnancy and really have ZERO effect on your eyesight or on baby. Try to see if there is any foods you've eaten that have high sulfites. They are a common trigger. So is caffeine and stress. Good luck and don't worry.

I have had these migraines but not only in pregnancy, it makes trying to concentrate or even to look at things very difficult.  When the stuff with my sight/eyes start I usually take a panadol, because I know what is coming and lay down in a room that is as dark as possible. I put an icepack on my forhead and eyes to.

I recently had my eyes checked and they are fine. They say the pregnancy hormones can cause the migraines. I've read about others experiences with this as well during pregnancy. Hopefully gets better.

No, but you should probably get your eyes checked. Those sound like pretty common symptoms of glaucoma!
