Anyone else having back pains already???

Hey October moms!!!!  I have been having severe back pain for about 3 weeks now!  It is almost debilitating.  I had my doctor paged on Monday b/c the pain was too intense.  He told me it was prob. related to my growing uterus but I am only 10 weeks pregnant.  Isnt't this a little early to be having back pain.  I am positive it is not a UTI.  It is almost like nerve pain.  And also he told me I could take Ibuprofen and I thought that was forbidden during pregancy.  Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know, that it is safe to take Tums. I also took them like candy, because I had horrible heartburn. The doctor said they are perfectly fine to take. I was also told the more heartburn you have, the more hair the baby will have. I don't beleive it because I had the worst heartburn with my oldest daughter and she was as bold as can be. lol. Take care.

To Kkase,

Back pain is also very normal. It can and will get worse depending on how much weight you put on and how big the baby gets. Have your DH give you some back messages. That might help. Good Luck and you will be in my prayers.

Hugz to All,
Pamela

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and I've been having pretty INTENSE pain on my left side of my hip off and on for the past few weeks.
The doc said it was just because everything is expanding to make room for uterus followed by baby.
He said don't be surprised if I get back pain at all aswell.

But I already have bad back pain because I'm pretty much a tattoo artist-in-training, so most of my time is or was spent at the drawing table.
That's why my back hurts because I'm always hunched over drawing.

So I wouldn't know the difference between backpain from me just having a bad back, or back pain due to growing baby.

But I'm sure you're perfectly fine.

Ibeprophen is said that it's not okay to take.
But they also say you're not supposed to take tums, and rollaids, and pepto, n this n that... but I've been popping tums like friggin candy man.
They've become my new best friend ever since I started getting heart burn BAD these past few weeks, and my baby's perfectly fine so far....

Alot of it is just people freaking out about this n that, but if your doctor says it's okay, then it's okay, fu*k what everyone else says.
Seriously. lol

I am 11 weeks pregnant and  I have had back pain for a while now too. I have been told because everything is stretching. I have also been having spotting for the last week but it is brown and not bright red or clots, which they don't want to see me unless I am cramping or weird like that. Doesn't help reassure me!!! I have been told back pain is from everything expanding
