Third Trimester Here We Are!!!
So about now I think all of us are in the third trimester (begins week 27). How are you guys feeling? What's going through your minds (especially you first time mommas!!!)? What is left on your To Do List before baby arrives?
O gosh I am so excited to be in the 3rd trimester! Now that the time is ticking away I can't believe she'll be here soon. My hubby actually said to me the other day, "It has finally hit me that I am going to be a father." I started laughing and said it took you 7 months to realize that!! lol. I quess it's because he doesn't get to experience the pregnacy literally. I am really excited but scared for the delivery and not sure what to expect. I am most likely going to have a baby shower in Sept so I am not getting anythihng for the baby until the baby shower. But I am trying to pick out which crib I want. Congrats everyone on making it to the 3rd trimester!!!
My "To Do" is very short (since this will be our third girl!!!). Basically just have some things to finish in the nursery, install the carseat and pack the hospital bag!!!
Oh, and clean the bottles/pump and baby clothes. But that's going to be a snap.
We also have a couple classes we're taking at the hospital in Sept.
I have no idea if there's going to be a shower. I'm not asking for one, don't really need one.

I am so excited to finally be in my third trimester!!! We have 4 baby showers over the next two months!!! I am unfortunatly already off work....so it will be a long almost 11 weeks for me!!! I hope he is not late!!! :) We are about halfway done with the nursery....we already have the crib, changing table, dresser, pack and play and bassinet!! Along with some outfits and stuff!!! I cant wait!!
im a first time mommy and super super excited! After having 2 m/c's it seems so amazing that it wont be long before Jamin comes! Im feeling pretty good besides the hands and feet and ankles and knees swelling snd the back pain! Its also like 100 degrees here daily! Im having my baby shower aug 29th which will be fun! We have most of the stuff for the room. we have to order a few more things and get the crib. weve picked it out already but then inlaws are buying it for us so we have to wait til they can go! I also have my 2nd neice on the way! My sister is being induced on the 12th! I cant wait!
Yes congrate to everyone for making it this far!!!! I like avik am a 1st time mom and am super psyced (sp) her nursery is done the only thing i have besides some clothes and 2 pack of diapers is a "dirty" stroller/car seat combo which is an older warn out one for when there is daddy time in garage or we go to work on race cars this way the stoller we registered won't get greasy next summer when it racing season again. I have one shower on aug 16 and one on aug 30. Lol like avik again seems everything is swollen dr even gave me teds or normally called compression stockings to wear. then this fri (31) i have the 3 hr gtt which i not looking forward too.
hi ladies well iv not got very much to do at all now. i think i have evrythin i need for the baby and the rooms all sorted and the hospital bag is half packed, i jst need to buy myself some new nite-wear and slipper for when i go into hospital. not long left for us all now a? im nearly 32 weeks now and im so excited i cant wait for our nw arrival it will b nice for my 2yr old son to have another baby brother to play with when he gets older too. im kinda wishin the days away so i can have him now but i no he will come when hes good and ready. im finding it bit harder to walk from time to time now to and aslo the baby is givin me a gd few kicks in the right side of my ribs. hows every 1 else feeling?
Ohhhh... I need to buy some slippers, too! I want some for the house anyway but they'll be nice to have at the hospital so I can walk the halls. I hate staying in bed all the time!

Just joined you ladies in the 3rd trimester today! Been feeling pretty good, though I have been having some pains on the sides of my belly, I'm guess its stretching pains. Other than that and being tired I feel great! haha! We just got her furniture and bedding and I simply love it! My glucose test is tomorrow and I am DREADING it, mainly because I hate anything carbonated and the sugary drink is. its going to be rough for me. I haven't even begun to start thinking about packing a bag for the hospital..... What are the must haves?

Britni- LOL! Yeah, the other thread has some great ideas but everyone is different. One thing to add (and I'll put it over there) is DO NOT FORGET your CAMERA (and extra batteries!)!!!
Remember, less is more. The hospital provides so much for you and baby that you only really need to worry about bathing, brushing your teeth and clothes to go home in.

Um - I don't mean to be completely stupid, but.. what bag? We have to pack a bag?
It's not stupid, Kaylee. If you're giving birth someplace other than your home you'll need to bring your toiletries, a change of clothes, clothes for baby to wear home (and their carseat or they won't let you leave the hospital with baby!). So just as you would pack a bag anytime you stay someplace other than your home, you'll want to pack things for your hospital stay!
The average time you stay at the hospital for a vaginal birth is 2 days. If you have a c-section I believe it is 5 days, though each hospital has different policies.

I still need to buy the crib beding, wash baby's cloth, buy a carseat, and Babys' going home outfit. I'm waiting for my babyshower so I can get the rest of the stuff I need for baby. I don't have much... It's really like my first since I gave away all my 7yr and 5yr infant and baby stuff. I'm basically starting all over.
