kinda nice about my dr is she gave me the slip of paper the hospital like to get filled out and it is supposed to be turned in around the 5th month. but i'm guessing this is because they are in the same town and are prob a block or so away from each other. about the classes my husband is working alot now due to my work putting me on call even though i said just to cut my hours a little b/c of my swelling anyways his shifts are some times 16 hours a day. so instead i reading up alot and getting advice from relatives and practiceing relaxing techiniques like yoga and kinda metatating its soooo relaxing to just listen to some classical music and being in my own little world
Oh and to find out HOW, you can either visit your hospital's website, if they have one. Or ask about it at your next appointment (they can give you the paperwork or web address as some are electronic). Or you can call the hospital and speak to someone about sending you the papers you need, that you will in turn mail back.
Most hospitals require that you pre-register with them (so they have your information in the system before you arrive). When you're in labor you don't want to have to sit there and fill out paperwork and show your insurance card and ID, etc. You want to be whisked straight up to L&D (Labor and Delivery). Pre-registering at the hospital you wish to give birth at will save you time when you're in pain!
I don't understand this either. Can you clarify this Joy?? How do i pre-register?
what do you mean by preregister at the hospital?? i have already signed up for my classes and they start in a couple weeks. i plan on visiting the hospital to check it out, do we have to like let them know we are planning to come there and when?? am i being ignorant?
