Had my 12 wk check yesterday!

Hi other Oct mommies to be,
I finally had my 12 wk check after what seemed like the longest 6 wks of my life. My dr wasn't too happy with my 11 lbs weight lost and told me that my morning sickness was definitely not normal. If you loose more than 5% of your pre pg weight then it is considered Hyperemesis gravidarum. It is still really hard to eat, because I don't know from one day to the next what will work. I know that it will eventually end, but it is making enjoying this pregnancy really hard. The babies heart beat ranged from 160's-170's and the dr even called it a she. So we will just have to wait and see. I hope that all is going well with the rest of you and will talk to you later.

Oh you poor thing! I hope you find something that makes you feel better when you eat. Even if it is the same thing all the time, that's better than throwing everything up.

Brandy.. I am so sorry that you are so sick! The baby's heartbeat sounds good though. Even though you lost alot of weight did the doctor say it is affecting the baby?? Take care.
