Ouch- my hips!

Ever since I was pregnant with my first I have slept with a body pillow between my legs to keep my spine and hips straight. Today my hips HURT! I wonder if they're already shifting positions? If you're not aware, your hips will tilt so that when it comes to giving birth baby's head can fit through the pelvis.

I don't remember ever feeling this until late 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester. Maybe my body is just getting a head-start. Just wondering if anyone else has hip discomfort.

No the first 2 weeks don't count. Your due date is based on your LMP. Women ovulate 2 weeks before their period. So basically the doctor is tacking on the 2 weeks or so prior to ovulation to make it easier to date pregnancy. Women with longer cycles, obviously, aren't as far along as their LMP suggests because they have more time between their LMP and ovulation.

I did the other day but I don't think it had anything to do with my pregnancy. I had horrible neck pain the yesturday and the day before cause I slept with my pillow tilted. This is so weird but I was younger when I had my other two kids. so I was doing the math and I just figured out the weeks 1-4 you don't really count... right??? lol Your first 5-8 is your first month... Am I on the right page with this???
