Is anyone else waiting for their first u/s to see the heartbeat?    I'm waiting and I can't help but be terrified of not seeing one.    I've had 2 m/c's and even though I have a healthy little 10 month old right now, I am so worried that history may repeat itself and I'll go thru the devestation once again of leaving the u/s without a heartbeat.    I'm having symptoms everyday, sometimes bad and some parts of the day nothing.   But its like that everyday and at some part of everyday I get really nauseated, so I know that must be a good sign.    I know I went into a panic everyday like this with my son too.   I was sure the symptoms were leaving me some days, but he was just fine.     Why can't I just trust in this little miracle?     This pregnancy came as a complete shock....we weren't trying, in fact we were trying not to.   I had spent several thousand dollars on fertility treatments with my son and a year and a half of trying with 2 m/c's to get him.    I never expected to be blessed with another one.   I try to tell myself that fate stepped in and gave us this blessing even when we were trying not to have one, so that MUST mean something....I must be meant to have this baby right????    I will be so relieved to make it over the first hurdle and see that beautiful little heartbeat.

Just found out I will hopefully be having an October baby as well.   I've had 2 m/c's in the past, so I'm always scared at this point.   I have a 10 month old son right now, so this pregnancy was a complete surprise and shock.   We had tried for almost 2 years for our 10 month old, used fertility meds and spent thousands of dollars.   I actually was "avoiding" the correct time of the cycle, but I guess fate stepped in and gave us another miracle.  My first beta at 4 weeks 6 days was 3311.2, so looks good so far.   Haven't been in yet for an ob appt or u/s, but should be due mid/end of October.   congrats to everyone.   Welcome to our long journey :)
