Yeah, she was kinda rude, but brush it off. It could have been worse. I've looked pregnant since 7 weeks.
same thing happened to me when me & my fiancé went to register at babiesRus..
I asked the lady at the front where to go, what to do, and she asked me when I was due.. I said October.. she didn't hesitate to say, "WOW, are you having twins? that's GONE be a big baby!!!!"
I politely (and rudely) said.. "wow.. rude?! no, I'm having ONE healthy boy, who happens to be quite small, because I'm small. considering I'm barely over 5 feet, petite, and I'm growing a human being.. unfortunately I lost my tiny waist line. thanks for the info. though!"
ugh, I was so p'ed off.. my fiancé (as well as everyone else) KNOWS I'm not big.. I know I'm not big.. I'm all belly, but hearing someone else say something like that really does get under your skin.. my advice? don't let it get to you, but get your point across. I did!! lol!! (((:
oh, and her poor grammar made her an even easier target for me!! lol oh well! she'll know better next time. ((:
I find it rude when ppl say I dnt look six months then turn around and say I'm gonna have a small baby I need to eat more!! My baby is fine thank you he was pushing one pound at 19 weeks I'm sure he's good and chunky now lol
Lol, I wish I could have been rude to this lady. She was a friend of my moms. I don't think people realize how it kind of stings when they say "wow, look how big you are." Or "you've gotten so big." I don't think they mean it bad, it just stings. I think the big/small comments should be kept in the brain. Cause I can see how both are a little hurtful.
I don't think it's rude I don't think there's ant malice or hurtful intent ppl say I lol small some say I look big who cares at least they can tell your pregnant lol and know your carrying a baby
