I always forget too. Or after waiting for an hour to get seen I'm ready to get out of there.
Lol yeah im going in july for a hospital tour and back to the doctor in june. I always have questions bu i always forget what they were so today i was writing some down to remember for the next visit. But thanks you were a lot of help!
Girl there are tons of things lol, my first time around I didn't ask a single one of those questions. This time I'm a little more prepared lol. Also when you register ask how many people can be in the room during delivery if you are wanting more than just 2 people. And what you have to be dialated to before they admit you. Some hospitals go by 3-4, then some go by how close and how long your contractions start. Do a walk through at your hospital's labor and delivery unit. if you want to take pictures or record the actual birth. I didn't want to record or take pictures of my son coming out. But my hospital didn't tell me until we were pushing that they won't allow it anyways.
Start talking birth plans. Will your doctor deliver or is it the on call dr, what's your dr take on csection? Some dr want to jump to a csection at the end of the day so they don't have to stay up all night waiting for you to deliver, does he/she do episiotomy's Or just let your body naturaly do its own thing. If you are going to keep the cord blood nows a good time to see what her hospitals policy is and if there are certain companies they work with. What's their view on being induced? Some dr only do it at 42 weeks, if you want to do it sooner then yall need to talk about it .
