Both families meeting for the first time!?
Can anyone tell me how it went when you and your bfs families meet for the first time? Did it go great or was it awkward? Lol ive been with my bf for 4 years and today our familes meet for the first time. It went good but we were watching the football games and they didnt talk much as i would've wanted them too cause everyone had their eyes on the tv. But i know theres gonna be more familes partys were gonna have together since this is the first grandbaby from both sides.
My husband and I took our families out to brunch that way if there was nothing to say mouths were full lol but it went fantastic and our families love each other now!

my mom is very traditional*
i've been with my husband for almost 3yrs total (almost 2yr married & 3yrs together) and our families still haven'r met yet. they're going to meet when our son is born. i'm not too sure how it's going to go because my is very traditional filipino, and his family is white (italian) but more americanized. plus, his parents are still in their mid-late 30's and my mom is turning 53 this year. we're both turning 22, so it's kind of a weird mix. lol.
