Mother in Laws

So I don't know if I'm the only one but does anyone else have a hard time with their in-laws? I do not get along with my mother in law at all! She is very rude to me and tries to make me feel bad constantly and I know she's going to purposely do things to make me angry once the baby is here too. She always makes me feel like I'm overreacting when I say there's certain things I can't eat while pregnant which scares me that she will try to feed my son foods he's not supposed to have. I just don't know what to do I've just been avoiding her lately...

I always think it is sad when families don't get along.  So much negativity isn't good and puts a cloud over things.  I hope it gets better for everyone and their relationships with their mother in laws.  good luck

Yes. I avoid mine as much as I can. She tried to make me miscarry several times and I hate her. Eight years with my husband and a year of marriage and she still hates me and tries to ruin us.

I Dont Really Bond With My Mother In Law. She Acts Nice When Im there but The Few Times that My Mom And Her Talked She Would complain How I Would Keep Up My Bf And Wouldnt Let Him Sleep But It Wasnt True.. Just Cause He Would wake Up At 3 or 4am To Reply Back & Just Say "I Love U" She Thought We Were Texting But I Was Knocked Out At That Time. And She Would Say That It Was My Fault Why He Would Be Tired. And The Few Times I Texted Her She Never Replied To Me Unless It Had something To Do With me Picking Up Her Daughter From School. I Try Keeping My Distance From her And The Rest Of my In laws Because They Make Me Feel Like They like My bf's Ex More Than me..

at least your mother in law does not take his ex wife to family gatherings... 38 weeks pregnant and she invited his ex wife to a freaking family thing...

I feel like my MIL is going to be the same way! She laughed at me because I told her I wasn't going to eat tuna casserole for my birthday this year (I have it every year) and I live right next door to her so I can't avoid her I seriously can't wait to move! I also live with my boyfriends brother who is 18 and he doesn't help around the house, we have to ask him multiple times to get him to do anything, he doesn't help with food, and I had to quit my job because I got so sick and was throwing up at work because of my pregnancy so we can't afford to feed him, 3 dogs, and now a baby! And of course my MIL treats me so badly and makes me feel like a horrible person because "her son has to support me" since I don't have a job. I asked my boyfriend to borrow $100 from them when they get their tax return so we can get his dog fixed since we need to buy a new car with our money and he said they won't even give us anything. My parents don't make nearly what his do and they are willing to help me out with a few hundred extra to get a reliable car...

My ex mother in law called me a beached whale when I was pregnant with my first. Marrying a mamas boy was a bad decision on my part. She made fun of me when I didn't want my son eating peanut butter before he was 2. Stuff like that.

Yes! My mother in law has hated me since we started planning our wedding. She told me my husband was going to hate it because of the colors. Now that I'm pregnant she acts like she doesn't even care about the baby and she is mad that I am going to go back to my hometown to deliver. She wants me to stay where I'm at and be completely alone when my baby comes.

I have been avoiding mine after she acted like a brat on 4th of July,Thanksgiving,then Christmas I just had to leave her in 2014
