scared to give birth alone

I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and am terrified to give birth alone. All my pregnancies have been high risk and I've experienced complications with both births of my children. Me and their father are no longer together and my current husband of 4 years isn't going to be able to make it. I don't have any close female friends and I wouldn't feel comfortable with my two guy friends who are like brothers to be looking at my downstairs area. My mom and I don't get along and she's always telling me how ugly my baby's going to be. I don't want to be alone for this process and have no one to really talk to about it. I'm open to any suggestions on how to get thru this. Sorry so long and thank u for and suggestions in advance

My husband was deployed with our second, we were overseas so I had to go at it alone. It stunk and I was super sad, but I did it. I was definitely miserable when after birth they put me in an "overflow" room, a room I had to share with someone else. But I was out in 24hrs, so it was over quick, now it's just memory. Just be strong and focus on how happy you will be to see baby

I would also recommend a doula

Discuss this with your midwife. There is also doulas you can hire for emotional support through labour. Your midwife though might also be able to offer support for you. My midwives were much better emotional support for me during labour than my husband was. At one point I asked him to leave.
Good luck with it all and don't let it stress you out too much. X

Maybe the guy friends would be okay in the room... But not in a spot where they can see down there?

Do you have any close friend girls or someone you trust? Cause your going to need all the emotional support you can get! But just pray about it
