telling my parents

Okay ladies I have a important question and need some advice I'm 18 getting ready to turn 19 in July I work go to school but still live with my parents. I'm of course expecting it was out of no where but I'm 7 weeks and me amd my boyfriend couldn't be happier. But I can't hide this from my parents any longer. I haven't told them yet cause I know there gonna be disappointed. Any ideas of how to break the news to them. All ideas are definitely appreciated

I would find a cute way to tell them. I was super nervous and almost passed out ! Lol. I'm 23 But I have really old fashioned parents and my mom is Hispanic so yeaaa lol anyways I got a box and made two notes one for outside said "don't freak out" inside I put a baby blanket with booties and hat and on top had another note saying "you're going to be grandparents" to my surprise they loved it and now can't wait to hold their grandbaby

Maybe you can find a cute watt to announce it to them that will trigger excitement rather than disappointment. You could just Google ideas on cute ways of announcing baby. Perhaps even wait until the first ultrasound so you have a pic to show them when you announce it and hopefully they'll feel a type of connection bc pix definitely make things more real.. But if they're not the type to respond to that sort of thing then just take the direct approach and spit it out so to speak... its a tough situation though so I hope it all goes well for you. Even if they are disappointed at first, they will probably start getting excited about the whole thing as time goes by, :-)
