36 weeks completion scan UPDATE
I had my 36th week 3 days completion scan yesterday.
Blood sugar is normal, thank God!
GBS test sent to lab, results are out on Mon, keeping fingers CROSSED.
My little one is in head down position but head is still moving, not yet engaged. Dr says head is 93mm big which is about a 39 week baby, its big she says. Thigh is the size of a 40week baby.
Though she says cervix will not dialate too soon as head is not fixed yet, if the membranes rupture she will need to do a C section. She was a bit concerned that since the head is big, how will it come out from the little place down there!!!! { Felt like telling her God can do miracles lady ;) } :-))
I havent gained at all in past 2 weeks, so she was a bit concerned, need to do the kick counting twice a day now.but last time i came in i had swollen feet and in these 2 weeks i puked 2 days, had acidity 2-3 days and nausea too, so guess all this factors in. Though she also thinks im missing my hubby a lot(since hez away on proj, arriving tonight..YAY!!!)
Didnt get to see my baby's face, he/she didnt move the face at all..aww..i missed it.
Rest seems good.
So lets see if my baby waits for the baby shower scheduled only on 30th Aug..real late...
hang in there girls...little onez gonna be in ur arms sooner than u know!

The Dr has very strictly said NO for physical relation now, so DH is more impatient now & was asking me after delivery untill wen can v not have it? DUNNO!!!

Really? I hope that's the case then! lol. With not being active, I thought for sure I'd be as big as a house by now! ;) As long as baby is gaining then I guess it's nothing to worry about...my belly sure is growing.
Actually Chantal, I read where this is the point when our weight will stabalize...kinda spooky seeing that baby is still gaining ...
Glad to hear appointment went well! Take it easy...I am with Latrice...baby might make their debut at the shower!!
Glad all is well!! =) Baby will be here before you know it. I haven't gained any weight in the last 2 1/2 weeks....but my midwife doesn't seem too concerned either. I kinda am because I thought this was the time when you really start gaining....hm.
Glad to hear everything went well at your appt. I have my 36week appt today, not sure what it will consist of, wish i was getting an U/S.
