Ugh, my top craving is chocolate!!! Waaaaay worse for you than gummy bears. LOL! So don't feel bad. I will sit there at work and be good all day. I have slim fast for breakfast (I am a terrible breakfast eater pregnant or not). Then I have some Yogurt or Healthy cereal for a mid morning snack. Then I have a Lean Cuisine for lunch w/ 100 calorie pack for dessert. So, I do really good right??? Um, that would be until I make it home. Then I begin chowing down on chocolate!!! It's terrible because I HAVE to have it too!!! At least you are excercising. I was very good about that w/ my last pregnancy but I haven't excercised once w/ this pregnancy. My husband moved all my equipment upstairs and I am SOOOOO unmotivated to go up there and use it!! We did order me a rowing machine last night. I mean, I can't use it until after I have the baby, but at least it will be there. I like rowing machines because they work every muscle at one time. This way you don't have to spend hours on multiple machines. Who has time for that??? Especially w/ a new baby, so I think it will be good. I found one for $150.00 w/ free shipping. It was regularly $230 and the reviews were pretty good for it, so I got it!! My birthday is next month, so unless my husband decides to surprise me, that was probably my b-day gift.
I have also been craving fruity candy, but try to satisfy it with actual fruit when it strikes! (Not always successful. Sometimes only Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans will do.)
I am weird......I LOVE chocolate...but when I eat it it still makes me nauseous!! ugh. Ice cream does the same thing to me. For last 2 weeks I have been craving egg and cheese on an english muffin. Sometimes I need two!! Talk about calories. On top of that...I usually only want it after 11pm!!! I am gonna be so huge. lol. Thankfully so far I've only gained 8 pounds, and as for an exercise routine..I wish! The only thing I do is go around and walk the yard (we have 6acres) and take my son to the pond and to get back home we have to go up a hill...does that count? lol. If we had sidewalks around here I would out with my son in his stroller and walk everywhere, but I'm too chicken to walk in the road with a stroller.
I love chocolate too, but I don't really crave it. Maybe once a week I might have a little bit of chocolate nothing too much.
Did you know Jolly Rancher makes gummies also?? They taste just like the regular jolly rancher flavors, but are gummie.
Chantal, I think walking is really good for you that counts!
Mmmmm....I am loving the fruity candies also! My dh buys them for me as a treat (maybe he shouldn't!) but anything including Gummy Bears, Skittles, Jelly Bellys, Starburst... Thankfully I only get them a couple of times a week but if they are in the house, they will be eaten! I am going to the dentist next week. Hopefully I won't have a mouth full of cavities on top of everything else! LOL
I walk my dog once or twice a day - maybe an hour total. I think that is enough exercise for me. I had great plans to do yoga etc but I couldn't earlier on and now I just can't be bothered!!
Our neighborhood snow cone shop just opened up for the summer. I LOVE their pina colada flavor! I swear it is thee taste of summer. I've had one the last two days in a row and I plan on having one tomorrow too.
I just saw my midwife today and I asked about my diet and excercise. She said I need to eat MORE! I couldn't believe it. It sure is easy to eat more rather than less. :-)
Ok so I certainly am having the boy out of this group lol. Chinese. I smell Chinese and my mouth waters I joke to my husband this baby is certainly taking after him. Oh and I ate a chunk of pinapple which I know sounds like nothing however...I HATE the stuff. And I really enjoyed eating it. (Yuck).
