Baby Bottles

Hey ladies! Okay so I can't sleep due to the BIG u/s tomorrow a.m at 10!!! I'm so anxious! So I'm trying to decide on which bottles to use.

#1. Playtex Drop-ins. (but I have changed my mind completely about these)

#2. Dr. Brown's

#3. Born Free

I was reading online the difference on which one to get between # 2 and # 3 and a lot of people say they like the Born Free ones better due to cleaning on them are better cause the bottle is wider than the Dr. Brown's. But still both bottles have a million pieces. I also heard that the Dr. Brown's leak. Not for sure though.

I know both of them serve as helping to reduce acid reflux in the baby.

I guess I was just wanting some of your opinions on what you have used or are planning to use.

Oh and one more thing...I know both of these come in plastic and glass. So which one would you probably go with. I heard with the glass one they don't stink like the plastic does. and the plastic has more of a yellow tint to it.

Sorry this is so long. Hope everyone is having a good night =]

I do agree that the Dr. Brown's bottles are expencive and there are so many peices.  I know when I was a baby we had the old fasioned glass bottles with just the nipples and we all turned out fine.  So I'm not sure what all of the fuss over the type of bottle is about.  Plus when you bring the baby home you could just buy one of each and see what the baby perfers.  Who knows maybe the baby can't get milk out of one, so it would be a wast of money to buy a lot of bottles from them, just to find out you will need to switch any way.

Also I'm not sure which type of bottle I am going to be using(plasic or glass).  I mean I know that the plasic ones are cheeper and easier to clean than the glass ones, so i would assume that I would be using those over the glass ones.

But who knows what everyone will end up getting me.  I mean I know that there are so many different types of bottles on the market now-a-days and I am putting on my regestry a mix of bottles just so when the baby is here, we can try the different kinds to see what he/she prefers.  So good luck to you!

Hey, im up to lol, i just cant sleep.

I just want to say i hope you have a good experience 2mrw, and dont hesitate to ask the tech what parts is she looking at, i had my tech tell me everypart she measured, heck i would not have known i had fibroids until i saw my ob when she got the report.  I was like excuse me, what are you measuring now, bcuz she had got silent and tried to hurry to the next item lol. (and i guess it dont make it no better that im a nurse, so i ask questions)

Good luck, i hope you get what you want, Pink or Blue:)  Cant wait to hear, i think your the last one who doesnt no besides the ones whose waiting until delivery.

Im getting glass and plastic bottles.  Thus far im getting the Medela Brand: breast pump, bottles, nipples & drop ins.  When i did my breastfeeding class the consultant said that it was a good brand and i would be happy with it, so im going to try it.  I get a free medela manual pump but im going to purchase me the automatic pump, i dont need any muscles:)

My friend told me DR Brown is good (but she didnt use them with her child,) mayb she went off reviews or something lol.
