Are you ladies renting or buying dopplers?

Just wondering if anyone is getting a doppler, i have been looking on ebay but once you do the biding the price gets up to the price of a new one. Im thinking of buying one,  I have an U/S today and hoping to hear the heartbeat, last time at the Dr. Office we got to see the fluttering of the heart.

The ones you rent are professional strength.  Like at the dr's office.  I thought about renting one, but there's a question as to how safe it is for the baby, especially if used everyday.  For that reason, my hubby said no.

(I'm still working on him though.  I don't think it will hurt.)

I saw prices from 80-115 dollars. If you rent them, there like 20-25 dollars a month (id rather just buy one) Im thinking about buying one once i get to 11weeks.

Oh gosh, I'd like to. But I'd probably just drive myself nuts with it. We'll see how much I can withstand it as I get a little further along! How much are they, usually? I found really variable prices online?

I'm going to buy one. I remember with my son how stressed I would get when he would stop moving for a few hours. It will be cool to hear the heartbeat whenever I want to
