Just Wondering, is anyone using any Contraception?

What are you using nnot to get preggo since having the baby.  Well i dont have anyone to do anything with but my family practioner suggested i should have my OB give me the IUD at my 6 week check up.  Im thinking about it but not sure.  Just checking to see what everyone else is going to be doing

LoL funny ya'll should bring this up, DH and I actually started having sex yesterday, my choice, but with his input.  LoL I thought that I was pretty much unattractive after I pop a baby out, but after we had a few long talks about it, we deiced that we could try it.  Well I'm horribly allergic to them as well.  Okay maybe I'm not allergic, but they cause me to dry up and then it's like pure friction down there and the pain isn't fun.  It's like carpet burn in your vag, not fun.  Any who so the past day we used the "pull out" method... which worked fine cuz DH and I want more kids, and if it happens now when we are being careful, it happens.  But TMI, he couldn't put himself in me very far without it being a bit painful, so it was a bit difficult, pretty much like he's taking my virginity again.  

In the end at my 6wk apt my doc and I are going to discuss getting and IUD put in and what not.  I'm a bit worried about it as well, however, if it works better than the pill and I don't have to worry about taking a pill every day, not to mention if I go with the copper one it wont be putting any un-needed hormons in my body, and I'm all for that!!!

I go back and forth with this. I thought I wanted to try the copper IUD...but I am terrified of anything in my body and also I would never take a pill or anything that would add hormones in me. I've NEVER been on BC before, we just use condoms and we have agreed to be super strict this time around since we weren't after my first son. IF anything I will opt for a more natural method like a cervical cap, other than that, I'm just too scared. we will see though!

DH and I have been using condoms...we ended up starting to do the "deed" again at 3 wks (my choice....I was going CRAZZZYYYY because it had been awhile before I had Mickey, too). At my 6wk checkup, my dctr is going to order my IUD, and at 8wks they'll insert that for me.. Until then its just condoms, I reckon.

I've been on the "mini-pill" since Cooper was born, since I was BFing.  Now he's 10 weeks and we're down to BFing just 1-2x per day.  I am planning to go on the patch once we stop completely.

You know Latrice, I was thinking the exact same thing. Before I got pregnant I was NEVER on any form of birth control and me and my boyfriend hardly ever used condoms.  I'm allergic to them.  I really don't know if I'm going to get put on any form of BC. Probably sounds bad, but I hate taking pills and getting an insertion freaks me out! Plus some of the hormones injected to mix well with me. Ugh..this is all too confusing.
