Just another update since it's been a while....

Hay ya'll how his everyone doing?  Is anyone's babies sleeping through the night yet?  Is anyone back to work and if so how is that going?  Besides that what has everyone been up to?  LoL I feel like it's been a long time for some of us and I just want to make sure that everyone is doing good and well...

As for me... as most of ya'll know, last Wednesday I had my gall bladder removed(Thank God), the whole thing went well... tho recovering that day and the next day was a bit tough.  I guess the worst part of everything was the air that they fill your abdomin with up so that they can move he camra and actualy see what they are doing, because the air builds up around your neck and schoulders and there is really no way for it to be released... I mean the body has to absorbe it and then it will transfer it throughout your body and finally through either burping or farting it will dissapate... not very fun... cuz it feels like you've pulled a muscule or something in your neck/schoulder region... And until everything has dissapated there is no real relefe...  Any who that was Wednesday and the first part of Thrusday.  At about 1pm my hubby calls(I've been staying at my parent's house so that I could recover) and he tells me that his grandpa is taking a turn for the worst and he wasn't really sure what was going to happen, well I emediatly told him that we were going up there to be with him and to be there for his father and his mother.  So I had to hurry and figure out if we were bringing Owen or leaving him at my parent's house (which we ended up doing).  So we finally get up there at about 7pm(he lives 3 hours away, but the hospital he was at was 4 hours away) and everything seemed to be fine, his stats were maintaining, however the doctor had said that he didn't think he'd be holding on long.  Well we left the hosptial around 9pm and headed back to the cabin and we all turned in for the night... Well at about 3am the hospital call's DH's father and tells him that he should get here, that he wasn't going to be here long... ect. so they left and DH and I feel back asleep.  Well we get up around 7am and at 730am we get the phone call that he'd passed away.  And from there on we were cleaning up his house, getting the finaces in shape, and decieding on creamation over baryail... It was so fast pased that I couldn't even tell you everything that happend for the rest of Friday.  Then we were home Saturday afternoon to relaxe for the rest of the weekend.  Yey...

As for Owen, I haven't seen very much of him since Wednesday :( and I miss him terribly, however, this was something that we needed to do and to be there with his family in their time of need ment alot to DH and to his family.  Any who we got Owen back yesterday afternoon and he's been okay... a bit fussy, but that's because he's been bounced around so much, but he's doing okay.  No he's not sleeping throught the night yet, infact yesterday he seemed exrreamly tried because for his 9pm,12am, and 1am bottles he didn't finish them, infact at this 9pm bottle we only got an ounce down him and he was asleep, which I think is one reason why he's not sleeping through the night yet... but hopefully I'll be able to get him onto some sort of a set scheudal soon.  As for working, nope not yet, I can't cuz of my gall bladder sugary, but I'm planning on going back as soon as I have my 6wk postpartum apt which is the 28th.  YEY!  As for everything else, it's pretty much working itself out... and I'm hoping that Owen start to sleep better at night... and not to be as fussy, but what ever we'll make it.

Oh the other really weird thing is that the day that DH's grandpa passed, was Owen's 1 month birthday.  So that was a bit odd, at least he was a great-grandpa for a month :) and he was so happy to have his first great-grandson, and he would show EVERYONE his pictures of him... I just wish that we could have gotten up their sooner before he passed so that he could have met Owen, but I guess he knows him and he's now able to look out for him from above!

Its simply amazing how far we've come, and yet how far we have to go... Boy how time flys (or should I say, boy how time flys when you're having fun?) any who... I know I posted this two days ago, but I just want to tell ya'll something... well besides I'm so very happy to have found this wonderful site that lets other pregnant women connect with others, but not only that but to have found such wonderful women.  Don't get me wrong there have been times where things were getting a bit rocky between us all... (hormons lol) but we've made it... this far, but there are so many more adventures that we are about to begin... its so exciting and yet scary all wraped up in one!!  Never the less, our lives have been forever changed by out little bunndels of joy and I can't get over just how blessed we really are to have created something to perfect... CONGRATS to everyone as we near the two month apt date, retureing to work, and/or resuming our per-pregnancy lives!  (something that I want more than anything TMI= Sex) lol Any who I'm so proud of each and everyone of us... and I can't wait to try for baby number two(tho that wont happen for a while, but it's always a thought).

Any who... today I took Owen to the Mall... now I know what ya'll are probably thinking... it was terrible, but no... he actually was pretty awake and alert there, looking up from his stroller (travle system, w/e), he seemed mesmerized by the lights or something above (not really sure what he was looking at or what he can see yet...) But it was very entertaing to watch him!  And I can't help but think how blessed I am to have such an amazing thing in my life, and that he'll always be there!!  Well we were at the mall form about 3pm till about 6pm (We fed him around 4pm and he took all 4oz) and then he was fine until we got home around 7pm (we had to run a few more errons) once we got home it was time to eat, he took almost 6oz at that feeding(something that he's never done before) and then he slept until about 2am-- I should add that he did fuss a bit after he had the bottle because I think he was over tired, but still nothing at all to complaine about!!  At his last feeding he took about 5-51/2 oz, so I know we are getting closer to upping how much milk I'm putting in the bottles, which makes me happy (more sleep at night **fingers crossed**).  *sigh*

Lastly I want to thank everyone for being there, not only for me but for everyone.  I can  only speak for myself, but I found it intersting to read others posts about things that were also going on in my life, it was all so very helpful... and so were ya'll!!  So thanks again!!!  And I truly beleive that this was THE BEST form of support any women could use!  Sorry it's a bit sentimental, but it's how I feel.

Wow sounds like all your babies are growing so quick and getting big that's great!

Bella just had her 2 month appointment and shots this week. She is up to 9lbs 1 oz and 23 inches long. We're not sleeping so hot right now since I'm trying back sleeping again. We were doing tummy sleeping and that was working great about 6 hours straight. Now it's back to less than an hour at a time.

Other than that I'm still dealing with the ppd and serious relationship changes with dh since having the baby. It will all work out, but for now it's a little rocky around here. I'm taking the baby to houston this weekend to see my sister. I'm so excited about everthing except for flying by myself with a 2 month old! Oh I'm gonna be one of those people that drives everyone crazy with her screaming baby.

Sam is doing well.  He sleeps 1AM-4AM and 5AM-8AM, which is nice, and then a similar schedule during the day, with an awake/fussy period 9-1.  I'm sure it will all change up on us again tho.  I am still pumping 5-6 times/day and seem to be meeting his needs with that.  It's a little inconvenient and would like to try to nurse again when he becomes more calm (now he is a maniac at feeding time).  Some days he cluster feeds, eating every hour for 3-4 hours.  I think he must be 10 lbs by now, have our 5 week appt. on Thursday.  There are a few little smiles (mostly when his diaper is off lol) but waiting for the real thing soon!

Well, Matt is finally doing better.  We have had to change formulas a few times, and I stopped breast feeding at 4 weeks because he was just so fussy and not able to be consoled.  He was 10 lbs at his month appt, and his 2 month appt is next week.  He's finally totally in 0-3 clothing, and out of newborn diapers!  I go back to work next week after his 2 month appt, and he will go to daycare.  We moved him from the bassinet in our room to his crib this past weekend, and he has been doing well.  I also have figured out that if I give 6 onz instead of the 2-4 he was taking before bedtime, that he will sleep for about 5 hours.  He sleeps during the day, but it's usually only catnaps, 20 minutes here, 30 minutes there.  He's a little cutie, and loves to look around.  I still look at him and can't believe that we created him and he's finally here.  My postpartum appt went well last week, my incision is healed nicely, and my BP is better, but I'm now on medication for that and PPD.

Hi yall,

Brandon and I are doing well. I am still recovering from my c-section, it seems like its taking for ever to get my body back on track. He is sleeping almost 4 1/2 hours through the night and barely sleeps any during the day, only takes cat naps. He seems to sleep well and be knocked out when he gets in the car. lol.We go on Wed for his one month check up.

Hey slzerbert, sorry for your lost.

As for me, its just a lot going on, my ex-fiance got his back pay from the VA(about 10,000) bought a 5500 dollar lap top and has not offered the baby any money.  At this point, i will let the courts decide what his visitation rights is, bcuz to have him com in my home to sit with her for 3-4 hours and make sargastic(sp?) remarks i could not take it anymore.  He no we are struggling and yet shows he doesnt care. Anyways,

My family practictioners are great, Trinity has been to the Dr 3 times already, 2 of the times were for wt checks, the dr asked me how comfortable do i feel so i choose to come back one week, then two weeks, now i come back in a month for her 2 month shots.  She was 7lbs15ounces at birth, last friday she was 10lbs4ounces, i think she woldve made 11lbs if i was strictly givn her breast milk.  I am still nursing her at night and have been introducing formula to her during the day, since when i go back to work she will need formula since i have not been pumping to store milk.

My son has been so helpful and great with her, i dont ask him to do things bcuz i dont feel like he should be presured to do it, my parents made me watch my 4 siblings when i was 12 and it ticked me the he ll off so i said i would never do that to my children.  Im jus glad he does things on his own.(He is 14)  He even brought her a little outfit back with his own money while he was gone with his dad for the weekend,(as if she needs anymore clothes)  She will be taking 6 week pics the end of the month:)

I have not went back to work yet, i wont be going back to the hospital untl the first week of december YaY, im not ready for that fast pace environment.  Im hoping to start working with a client(private duty care) the 1st or second week of november.

As far as lil Ms Trinity she sleeps from 12midnite until 4, she eats and goes back to sleep until 7am.  I am thankful that she is sleeping like that.  Cant wait until she can sleep 6-7 hours str8.  She still sleeps during the day 2-3 hours at a time, but when we were at my parents house for the weekend, she was taking cat naps bcuz so much was going on(she is so nosey) she didnt want to miss anything, she was up looking at everyone.

Hope everyone else is doing gr8, I miss you all.

I'm back at work...that's going great -- although I miss Mickey when I'm gone. At night he now sleeps at least 7 hrs straight, unless he's had a rough day and then he's riled up all night. But last Tuesday night he slept for 10 hrs! I was so happy to get that extra sleep....So I'm hoping that Mickey keeps up this wonderful sleep schedule! As for everything else...Its the same old, same old.. He goes back for his 2 mnth checkup and his first vaccinations on Nov 10th...I'm not real excited except to find out how much he weighs. He's growing sooo fast!! He's definitely getting a bit chunky already :P
