Peri appointment 7/8

And i thought getting the news of having to go in to my perinatologist weekly sucked but then today i was told starting next week, i have to go in TWICE a week!! YEP TWICE (2). That means that i have 10 dr visits a month until i start seeing my OB once a week the last 4, i will have 12 visits that month....ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!!!! They gave me a NST and other then him REALLY not liking the stuff on my tummy and him trying to continuously kick them off, they said it was PERFECT....checked his movements, my fluids, his heart and the cord and then said, baby looks GREAT, hes doing really well. Then why do i feel that at any moment my body is going to attack him? Thats what it feels like with having to go in so many d*mn times a week to have my BP tested and blood drawn and urine samples....i just dont get it and all i want to do is sit here and cry!! So i have to take my bpcuff that i bought with me to test it as the same time that they do theirs to see if its my cuff that is inaccurate vs. just having high blood pressure when i go to the Drs office. When i take it at home, i take it more then once. Basically, best out of 3 type situation considering that the little booklet says to make sure im relaxed and in a quiet situation and since sometimes its not, i take it more then once to compare and right down the best numbers. And they are still a little high, usually 115-135s over 70-85s...so not below normal but not high like today it was 154/90...well wtf do they expect when i walk through the door and they throw something like that at me....maybe if i could have some sex to relieve some tension i would have lower blood pressure and if i didnt have to worry about paying 100 a week for more bad news...

askingfor, im sorry you are going threw that, and im sure it has to s u ck to pay a copay.  I have my 30week appt. 2mrw and im almost jealous of you ladies that you are getting checked so often.  I feel so miserable and eveerytime i call the office they tell me ohhh, thats normal, blah blah blah.  Im wondering if i will get a nst 2mrw and if my appts will go to every 2 weeks and if i will get a vaginal check.

Hang in there!!!  We are so so close.  I'm also being watched but for placenta previa and bleeding vs high blood pressure.  I have my appts every two weeks but I also have to go for u/s appts (including the vaginal u/s!!) every other week.  It ***** but we are close and I just keep praying that all of our little ones will continue to be healthy even if they are under the consistent watchful eyes!

Juana - It seems so common for the dh's to get pregnancy related issues!  My dh has gained 15 pounds and gets serious mood swings!  When my sister was pregnant her husband get hemorroids!!  :)   Apparently there really is something scientific behind it though.  Very strange!

Amberlee, my blood pressure is normal...they told me it is because I am still taking the blood thinners...Michael is having blood pressure issues and his doc thinks it is pregnancy related...isn't that a trip!!

Hang in there girl!! You will be okay. =) I am being closely watched now as well. It seems as though us september mommy's are all being watched closely in some way. We are all in this together. Keep your head up, okay?? I am trying to! lol. ;)

So they do a weekly NST on you? So I'm guessing that's what they will be doing for me as well... Why does it come so easy for some and the complete opposite for others? It makes me feel a little better to know someone else is being closely watched as well! Do you have high bp?

Don't freak out,  I have to go twice a week too. One appt for NST and the second for my regular prenatal visit!

Look at the bright side...its almost over!

And then a few minutes a go I missed a step on the stairs and I think I sprained my ankle.....almost done...ALMOST DONE
