how long after a miscarriage would you test negative, i been spotting a day and a half now and today i took a hpt and it came back pos+
Baby2nd- Do you know that you had a miscarriage? Spotting can be normal for some women in pregnancy but I would go get it checked out.
Your levels need to be tested to make sure they went down before you will test negative, this can take a while.
Hi i had a miscarriage in Oct last year and i took a HPT about 2 or 3 weeks later and it was negative. I had one period after my m/c and got preg again i am now 14 wks preg. So did you only have the m/c like 2 days ago? It'll take longer than that to get a negative result. You have to wait until your HCG levels are back to under 5 before you'll get a negative result.
