Braxton Hicks

Not really a question....just need to complain.  I'm getting really sick and tired of having these stupid contractions on and off all day!  It seems like every time I stand up I have one - or at least everytime I have to pee I do...which is all the time!  Doctor checked me yesterday and cervix is closed so they are just BH but still annoying.  I don't remember having them this much with DD.

Anyone else having them?

If you aren't drinking enough water it can cause BH.  You probably already know that tho.  I get them off and on, but not too much.  I have some days where I get more than others.

I probably am not drinking enough water, can always do more of that.  I just seem to have to pee all the time, drinking more will make it worse!  My doc says as long as they are not painful or more than 5 in an hour not to worry....so I'm not worrying, just annoyed!  DD wants me to carry her and it seems like every time I do I get another contraction....not sure how I'm going to break it to her that I can't keep carrying her!  I try to tell her she's hurting mommy, but she's not quite 2 yet, she doesn't understand.  Ah...the joys!!

i get them pretty often too. my belly just feels tight when i touch it during the BH. i probably wouldnt even realize it if i didnt touch my belly when i think its happening.  i told me doc ive been getting them and he said my cervix is long and closed so there is nothing to worry about then. i drink plenty of water but i still get then too, probably like 10 a day.

I get them sometimes as well. Mostly after I pee or after I wake up in the morning. I only drink water, and I drink it nonstop so  I know that's not why I get mine.
