Has anyone got their first period?

Well as some of you know I bled for 6 weeks, I had an infection. Today 2 weeks since I stopped bleeding I just started again (of course Im preying its my period and not another infection!) and I was wondering what I should expect? With my son I got my first period about 2 months later and it seemed normal.
I dont want to stress about having another infection so I would like to hear from you guys about what it was like for you!

With all of my kids my first peroid was delayed due to atleast partially breastfeeding.  I typically bleed off and on until about 7 weeks.  Do you have any other signs of infection?  If not I wouldn't stress over it for the time being.  Wait and see if it stops in 5-7 days like a normal period would.  If it doesn't, then go see your doctor.

I bled for one week with my first and the very next month I started my period.
My second I bled for 2 weeks and same thing...Got my period back the next month!
This is my third baby, but first C Section. I bled for 4 weeks and still havnt got my period!!!

I bled for 5-6 weeks and stopped. Since I got my IUD in I've been having bleeding that's heavy some days and non-existent on others. I dunno if it's a period or just irritation. Most likely the latter. I've only had random spotting every now and then otherwise.

Well Im not sure whats going on now...
TMI~ All I have had today was some light pink spotting and then some brown discharge...?
I thought with the pink it was my period, I know it still could be but Im confused with my body and its indecisiveness!

with the last infection I had, I had NO symptoms. All I had a a lot of bleeding nothing else!

i had my first visit from AF Oct 30. It was pretty much exactly like before I got preg. I'm not sure on my cycle length but i'm on CD 20 now so i should know soon how long my cycles are now

I'm still waiting for my period to come back!
My baby girl is just over 11 weeks.
I'd really like to get it back! LoL

if you are breastfeeding at all chances are you won't get it back for awhile.  A few women will get it while they are nursing, but others won't.  Even when I was only partially nursing with 2 of my kids I didn't get mine til after I stopped completely.

I just received my visit from AF. Not happy about it. I figured since I'm exclusively breastfeeding on demand i would go longer without AF. I can say that I don't have back pain or sevear cramps that I usually get with AF.

For those that were exclusively breastfeeding when you got your first PP Period.  Do you recall any "signs" that it was coming?

Several days ago I got that feeling like your insides have been rearranged.  Sort of painful but mostly uncomfortable, plus I had some bloating and I've had the slightest little bit of CM the past week or so.  I'm just wondering if my AF is gonna be rearing her ugly head soon.  I also took the depo shot back in September, I'm due for the next shot in a week but I won't be getting it and I'm not on any other birth control atm.

I just got my AF 3 days ago...boooooo.....it was so nice I actually forgot to be expecting it...lol....mine seems the same as it was before though which is nice....no cramps or pains and pretty light!

Well I am guessing that AF will be here in about a week... it will be my second period since Raya was born.

yeah im still pumping and still giving formula too. im not sure how much longer im going to do it though because i dont get as much anymore, but im not ready to quit yet.

I only bleed lightly for about 18 hours then spotted for a day now nothing. I had been spotting on and off for the last 3 weeks.

I'm still pumping and doing breastmilk exclusively. I've been a little lax on the pumping and my supply has dropped some but I'm still able to keep up with her.  I haven't decided when I'm going to stop either.  I figure that I'll know when the time is right, just like I have with my others.  

Still nothing as far as AF goes for me.   Probably a combo of the depo shot plus the pumping.  The depo shot wears off this month and I won't be getting it again so we'll see what happens.

I have not had the slightest sign that mine is returning, but I am exclusively breastfeeding, so that is not surprising.
