Who will be the first to get an ultrasound?

I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday I will be 5 weeks, 3 days. I am only having this ultrasound because I had a red blood spotting scare 2 nights ago. I am so nervous but it was a very small amount of blood and I haven't had any cramping at all so I think I'm okay. My doctor wants to do an ultrasound on Monday to check for the bleed and to make sure the baby is measuring correctly. Please keep me in your prayers. My ultrasound is at 9:45 a.m. EST so I will update as soon as I get back.

Will I be the first to get an ultrasound for the September mommies?

Well thats good, the wait *****, I now but it will be nice to see everything!
Im not sure if I am concerned about that or not. Only because my last u/s was at about 6.5 weeks and we saw everything! Heart beat and fetal movement!!! But then I m/c the very next day! No one can explain why or how, when I went in saying that I had m/c my doc told me is was HIGHLY unlikely because how perfect the u/s was. I dont ever want to scare anyone but it really makes me think twice thats for sure.
Good luck and I hope that everything is perfect when you go in! I cant wait for the 26th, I just with my DH was here, this will be the second u/s that he had to miss.....

Becuase my doc doesn't do u/s on the first visit, he does them at the 2nd scheduled visit which is 4 weeks later.  But that's ok, it eliminates any uncertainty.  By my LMP I will be 10 weeks when I have one.  By then, if everything is ok there will definately be a fetal pole, heartbeat, etc.

YAY!!!!!! Im going in! On Jan 26th!!!!!! I am so excited, Im a little scared that something could be wrong but I dont feel like there is, so I hope everything is perfect!!!!!!

Hi there everyone.. Well I think that I'm around 5 - 6 week. Last AF was November 30.  We had IC on the 13 and 15.

So No bleeding but little cramping.... Both sides... TTC for 5 years..One daughter 6years old that took 4 years to conceive...

Hello Ladies i had my first ultrsound today i'm due on 2nd Sept. We saw a strong heratbeat.. Yay... Its a tiny tiny little thing with a heartbeat which looked like a lashing light. Been on IVF rollercoaster for 3 and 1/2 years so its our miracle child...

Fingers,toes, eyes and everything else crossed for you!  I had my first u/s last Tuesday...we didn't see anything but a "speck" ( I was only 4 weeks 3 days ), so we will do a repeat on the 29th (7w 6d)..at that point we hope to see more!

Well I live in Canada and we done normally get to have an u/s until we are 18 weeks. The only reason we might get one sooner is if we are bleeding or high risk.

I don't have an ultrasound scheduled until the 21st.  I do have an appt with my old OB (most of you have read about that)  I doubt he will do one then, he usually will schedule you for one.

Will definately be praying for you! I have had two u/s bc I had light bleeding...it was when I would wipe...sorry TMI. I went to the ER and said it was most likely a cyst on my left ovary that was causing the blood that they saw on the u/s. I went back to my RE ( I did IVF ) and she did another u/s and said everything was fine also. I am 6 weeks 2 days today and have slight bleeding every 2 days or so and I know it's from the cyst bc my left side will hurt. My RE and the ER Dr said that if I fill up two pads within an hour, then to go back to the ER. I know it's hard...believe me...this is my first and I am still scared when I see the blood on the tp. Just relax until Monday by putting your feet up...that will help. I have another u/s on Thurs. Jan 14...and eternity away, but hoping to see our babies heartbeats. Oh, and I forgot, my RE took me off the baby asprin also bc she said it may contribute to the bleeding. Praying all goes well for you!
