How your healing...

Soraya is 4 weeks tomorrow! I ended up with a few stitches and believe I'm healing fine, my dr. will check everything at our 6 week app.   I am wondering though if it's normal to still have some cramping? It's not all the time, it kind of feels like I'm going to get AF but I think I'm just losing my "flow" from Rayas birth now... Is anyone else still cramping? Should I see my dr. early?

Yes, that's perfectly normal it's just the lochia that is to be expected after having a baby.  Nothing to worry about.  Your bleeding/discharge is supposed to go from red to brown to white/clear.

Ok ladies TMI!!!! But I need to ask...
Has anyone has "snot" like discharge? I still have my "flow" but for about 2 weeks its like.... Well if you child gets a cold and their nose runs, that kind of snot. Sometimes like EW but not as thick. Is this ok? I did tell my doc about it and he didnt seem concerned but no one has had a look down there since I left the hospital.

I'm 4 weeks now too! I see my midwife for the last time on Monday, I'll only be 5 weeks but she lives 2 hours away and haven't seen her since 2 weeks :P
All pain went away when my midwife took out my two little stitches at that 2 week appointment, which was good, because they were rubbing and caused me to be quite raw.
I'm already doing some basic exercising, mainly going for a walk every day and doing some basic stomach exercises.
As for my flow I believe it's stopped finally like two days ago, just a little bit of discharge now and then but not enough to make me want to put up with any more liners, so I"m just wearing my old grungy underwear instead hahaha.

Mine has gotten to where it's just enough and unpredictable enough to warrant the constant use of a panty liner.  Every time I think it's been long enough without to stop wearing them, I'm proven wrong!!

I cramp every now and then. I used to anytime I BF but now it's random. I had 6 stitches and by 2.5 weeks PP had no pain.

Yeah, sometimes I would dread my baby crying, my breast would let down milk and my uterus would cramp like something shocking.

Thanks! With my first I had a c section and I only got cramps when BFing. I was just not sure if I should be feeling them 4 weeks after DDs birth.

Hi, after my last baby (i have had 4), I had terrible afterbirth pains. They were that bad I asked for a pethadine shot, and I would say they were worse then the birth! I think your cramps maybe cramping due to the uterus shrinking down to its normal size after having baby. But if worried wouldn't hurt to see your doc early.
