Hello ladies,

I'm currently pregnant with Mt first child due on September 23rd. Well yesterday I was Todd my iron is low and I needed to take pills for it. I was wondering if any of you ladies had or had low iron and if so what pills did you take? Oh and did us cause harm to your baby?

I never took a supplement I just ate allot of spinach! The fresh leafy kind in the produce area works best. You can put it in any meal even just eat a spinach salad a few times a week that did the truck for me. (:  (but I did this cause I can't take pills easily) /:

Low iron is common in pregnancy. Taking iron won't hurt your baby. The further along in your pregnancy your blood volume changes and sometimes your body just can't keep up. Any iron supplement will be just fine but if your still unsure ask your pharmist. I hope this helps
