With my first baby I got one when I was 5 months then again at 7 months. With this pregnancy I'm high risk so have already got three growth ultrasounds with another scheduled for July 7 and have to start getting bpp ultrasounds TWICE a week as well starting July! As happy as it makes me to see my baby, I would prefer not to have so many! But I can understand where your coming from! I'd call your insurance or go to a private place who can do it for you if your Dr won't

If it's not medically necessary then u don't need a bunch of sonograms, obviously ur baby must be OK or ur doctor wouldve ordered more monitoring.  And as far as if ur baby is heads down ur doctor can feel and determine if baby is in the heads down position. Now if u just want to see ur little one again then u might need to look into private facilities that do that.
I have to have another ultrasound at 32 wks,  my last was at 20 wks and the only reason I have to go back is because one of my baby kidneys was slightly larger than the other and the doc wants to monitor that.

If it's medically unnecessary then yes. You could go to a private ultrasound place and pay fully out of pocket. Usually around 100 or so $
