holding weight on my belly?

Just curious if holding about 13 lbs of weight on top of my bump a lot during the day is bad? I'm a nanny for a 3 month old and because of medical conditions he has to be constantly watched with a very close eye. The easiest way for me to manage that and still accomplish other daily things is to carry him most of the time but I  was curious if  having that weight constantly on my stomach is a bad habit to have? It's not so much of a worry while walking as it is when he falls asleep and I need to get off my feet (I would take him off but he's a light sleeper and doesn't go to sleep easy anyway). Because then he's sitting full weight on me. Is weight on your  belly lo Ike that bad?

I know my son weighs about 22 pounds and that's fine. But maybe try a baby sling or carrier they take a lot of stress off your back and stomach

That's true I guess. It doesn't really bother me except when my baby rolls and gets comfy in the very front of my belly. I just know this little boy is only getting bigger and his favorite place to be is held on my chest or stomach and I wasn't sure if having him like that constantly was a no-no. My little guy is ALWAYS active and kicking so it hard to tell sometimes whether he is cramped or just doing his normal aerobics routine lol

I don't think so. I have a 2 and 3 year old that pretty much sit on my belly (non stop for past few days as they've been sick)... The baby seems to kick if he's getting too squashed and I adjust the toddlers! I really don't think carrying a 3 month old would do anything except maybe give you a sore back, honestly I think some boobs weigh more than 13lbs and they sit on women's stomachs 24/7 ;)
