20 week scan

So I have been for my 20 week scan, but they couldn't tell the baby's sex. Can I book another scan, or will I have to wait until the baby is born?

Hi. I heard you will have to wait if you weren't able to tell during the 2nd trimester ultrasound.  I would just ask your doctor, and if they let you, chances are you would have to pay out of pocket for a second scan.  My doctors scheduled me at 22 weeks (I'm 19 weeks currently) just to be sure they could see everything. I imagine it's a gamble anytime as to whether you'll be able to see the necessary parts :)

Happened to me too. The cord was between the legs and they couldn't tell. I won't be getting another scan...yay mystery baby lol

There like mommy spas. They are around 100 dollars usually but we'll worth it.  To find out and for the extra peek.  And alot of places will Re do or refund an ultrasound if they can't see the gender.

I'm in Atlanta and i actually found several places that offer ultrasounds outside of your doctors office. I paid $30 and found out at 15wks. They don't stop until they've revealed the gender.
