is it bad if i have a belly ring ? I'm only 21 weeks .. sometime next week im wanting to get the long plastic kind and if i can't find em' i will take it off. is it also bad if i have a tongue ring ?

I took my belly piercing off when I was like 6 to 7 moths pregnant It hurt a little bit that's why I tooked off.I don't know if it's bad or not some people say it is but doctor never told me nothing while I hade it on.

I never removed my tongue piercing during labour. The only one I ever took out during pregnancy was my belly ring, and it went right back in after delivery.

Maternity belly bars are fine, 37weeks with my 2nd child and both times they have been fine to use. Dont know about tongue as havent got mine done.

The only risk i have heard of is for you, having the hole get bigger and staying bigger and it not being pretty. But i haven't heard of it being a danger for the baby.

Wouldn't say it's bad I really wanted to keep my belly piercing in all throughout my pregnancy. I had to take my belly piercing out at roughly 16 weeks because it got that tight even the pregnancy ones werent good enough. I'm 19 weeks tomorrow. Instead I'm going to get it re pierced later on in life :-)

Belly or tongue isn't bad. Belly ring is safer to put the plastic N the tongue ring is asked to be removed when ur in labor

she said about the belly piercing that taking it out so much and poke the baby but i rarely take it out and another friend said its bad with a tongue ring because it could take the metal with food that goes down but it's not like my tongue rings peals lol

its cause i still have the same metal piercings they gave me when i first got them pierced.. and a friend of mines kept saying they're bad if you're pregnant but i don't see how .__.

I dont know if it's bad to have a belly ring, tongue ring, I don't think it is I had mine all the way until my daughter was born.
