I would let your body heal for sure. It is really up to you if u would like them close together or not. Mine are 21 yrs old, 5 yrs old, and I am 40 weeks and 5 days waiting on the 3rd. We had our first very young but the second we had layer after school etc. I was going to have another very close with our second but my health did not allow. So we gave up the thought of having another one all together and then bam I got pregnant. I am not sure about how it will turn out but I hope I will have a good time and will have a helper. I will have different things to got through at different times now with the both of them. All of mine are girls so that helps too
The dr will tell you to wait at least a year to let your body get back to normal. Pregnancy does a number on your skin, hair, kidneys, liver, bladder, heart, etc. So it's for health reasons. With that being said there are so many women who have "Irish twins" so it's not impossible. Just be cautious as risk of ppd increases significantly with a pregnancy soon after birth. And of course take very good care of your body.
Its up to you but my only advice os to let your body heal. So you might want to wait until lo os 1yr old. Putting your body through that much so quickly isnt a good idea
There is going to be 14 months between my first and my second. I'm not unhappy about it but I wish there would have been at least two years between them.
There are 4 yrs between my 1st and 2nd....now between the 2nd and 3rd there are 5 yrs. I feel that I was able to take time w all my kids because they were farther apart. My 1 friend had her 1st and 2nd 4 yrs apart and her 2nd and 3rd are a yr and a few days apart. She did say it's hard but they r doing everything together.
I'm not sure it's up to you. I have an 8yr old and 1 week old and my son has been extremely helpful. Some moms want there kids back to back so they can have there kids grow up close. I wanted to accomplish a few more of my dreams so I waited on my second child. I am happy I did because I appreciate my second so much more considering we haven't had a baby in a while. Its ur choice how u want to do it.
