Smoking weed won't harm you. Smoking tabbaco will. I am 12 weeks and stopped smoking (ciggarettes) when I found out I was pregnant. As for posting it on here that's not a good idea altogether
The fact you say she is aware of her actions and the possibilities that smoking weed could harm her baby is worse. I was a smoker, probably close to a pack a day, as soon as I found out I was done, I quit. I know things are hard but the fact she was looking for reassurance from someone else smoking weed is ridiculous. I know the back pain, we all do. She is only 13 weeks, it is gonna get worse, its scary to think when she does she will smoke more weed. I hope for the best and I can give her advice doesn't mean she will quit smoking and use it.
Stop coming down hard on her for smoking. We all know its hard to quit smoking. These are things women have to get use to noy doing and that's hard when its their everyday routine. I'm quite sure she's aware of the harm it may cause. At the end of the day she has to deal with the consequences if any. Now, as far as your back pain a pillow helps me out a lot and I'm 16 wks with my second child a pillow helped during my first pregnancy and its helping now.
im sorry but who the hell smokes while pregnant stop being selfish your baby doesnt have a voice to say you are hurting me wake up before your wake up moment in the hospital when they taking that poor lil baby away from you . omg ppl r crazy
I'm sorry but I just had to say something vwilkens09s is right we all hurt while pregnant but we do it for our baby's health pain is only going to get worse. think about your baby don't smoke and ask your doctor about what can you take or what can u do for your pain. Think ur baby's health should be first for all of us after all that's what motherhood it's all about. Are kids come first. I'm 28 weeks and I know it's hard but it'll be all worth it once u have that little baby in your arms
I dont have the back problem but i did smoke weed very heavily before becoming pregnant at least 2-5 times a day but since the day i found out i havent smoked at all i know its hard and even i crave weed sometimes but jst think how it can harm ur baby
**Prop yourself up at night and try to sleep like that, or put a pillow behind your back when you're sleeping on your side so you can't roll onto your back unknowingly at night (hope that makes sense, lol). As for smoking weed, health wise, it's okay I mean lets face it, it's better to smoke than put your body through all the stresses that come with pregnancy but I would suggest you quit during your last trimester. Your physicians can drug test you without your consent and contact DSS. It's not worth the risk if you ask me. I was a total pothead before I found out I was pregnant and once I found out, I cut back and now it's been 2 months since I've smoked. (I'm 35 weeks, 4 days)
Prop yourself up at night and try
You can still sleep on your back, you will know when you can't anymore. As for the smoking weed, I'll keep my mouth shut, we all hurt while pregnant but we do it to protect and grow the baby healthy. Pain doesn't get much better and your only 17 weeks.
Another option at that point is not a big deal with sleeping on your back, my Dr told me to stop once I hit about 24 weeks and just use a body pillow and put it under your back so you will be elevated, for me I'm just about 31 weeks and still find myself waking up on my back and my baby is perfectly fine
As bad as it sounds I'm 7 weeks and I sleep on my stomach I use heatwave to get rid of bad back pain really helps and eases the pain
It's Scary Sometimes. I will try my best and tell my partner to help me out. Thank you and good luck! As for the weed...it suddenly makes me really nauseous so I will stop, I'll try benadryl :)
I'm going thru the same trouble but I'm currently 29 weeks. Let me tell you it doesn't become easier. You have to train yourself now because I'm having a fee complications due to that issue. I'm in the third trimester and when u end up on your back it causes the blood flow and nutrients not to reach the baby. Be very careful and as far as smoking I definitely don't if you have a problem sleeping try benadryl that's safe for the baby if you take one now and then. Smoking weed could definitely show up in your urine and if they suspect you of any drug use the can test you without your consent. Good luck
