18wks and feel like a virgin again??? sorry tmi

So I'm 18wks 6 days and sex is now slightly painful and I feel so tight I almost feel like a virgin, has anyone else had this? Me and my partner have had regular sex throughout so far probably 3 or 4 nights a week but yesterday we had it twice and sorry for the tmi but it was so hard for him to even get it in and was quite painful aswell. I'm not large or overweight either I'm now 69kg is it a pregnancy thing or should I see a gyno..... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

It never use to happen to me I actually enjoyed sex more at the start of my pregnancy now, it hurts and feels hot and tight down there afterwards especially, the muscles all ache and it annoys me so much, I just go without until the pain gets better and try again, mainly for the boyfriends sake, we had a very active sex life before pregnancy and I guess he can't get use to going without haha.

it is probably due to the extra blood flow during pregnancy. it can cause swelling in various genital areas. if it's worrisome, tell your doctor, but this might be an explanation
