4weeks and 2days when can I have a ultrasound check

Hi mommies I'm 4weeks n 2days ,when can I go for my ultrasound check .I'm afraid it could be to soon in 2014 I had an ectopic pregnancy n lost 1 tube so I wanna know if everything is ok.I have strong faith everything is ok but feel the need to check still.

If you're in america it will depend on how many your insurance pays for.  Don't go before you *know* you are *at least* 6w or you run the risk of not seeing much and then worrying that the baby's not growing

An early ultrasound which is done to find out how far along you are.  It's mainly done on women with irregular periods, or who were on birth control so they can't estimate by LMP.

I had a dating scan done as I don't have regular periods  I was 7 weeks 6 days.

Hello, I believe it can be done at 8 weeks but usually it is done on week 11 when everything is more visible. I've always heard that doing things in the second trimester significantly lower risks that may be present in the first trimester. I'd schedule one on or after week 12. Good luck!
