26 weeks, ripping pain in stomach

Hi mamas! Ftm and I'm kind of worried. I've been to the emergency room twice with excruciating pain. It radiates from my belly button all the way over to my side and down to my right hip. It hurts even just laying still, like a deep throbbing pain. Every time I stand up, sit down, turn, lean over, or even breathe deeply, it feels as if something is ripping behind and beside my belly button. I almost had my appendix out until they did an mri and couldn't find anything. I've mentioned it to my ob twice but she doesn't seem worried. It's debilitating. Anyone else having such bad pain?

That's what my doctor says it could be. It's just so extremely painful and unrelenting, I had no idea it would be so bad even just laying here! I've tried baths and Tylenol and it helps a little but not much. I've felt for a ridge in my middle abdomen and didn't feel anything so I don't think I have recti thing. I hope you ladies feel better soon.

I had the same ripping sensation but I felt it in my upper abdomen, whenever I walked or moved. When I described it to my Dr she advised that I had diastasis recti..where the muscles in your stomach rip. She advised nothing can be done, it will heal on its own after delivery..and she recommended that I take Tylenol for the pain. Not sure if this is what you have though.

I've had some pretty bad pain. They say it's normal because your ligaments are stretching because your uterus is growing. Take you a nice warm bath and relax. Or if you have a heating pad put it where it hurts that's what I always do.
