2nd Trimester Face Wash Or Remedy Needed

I have read everywhere that while pregnant with a boy your face will tend to break out. Well after 2 daughters.  We have a little man on the way.

My face is breaking out bad. What is everyone using. My skin is fair in color and has dry spots normally.

It has gotten much worse in dryness and blotchy. Part is the brisk weather, but something has to give.

I know all you Mama Goddess' have some tricks up your sleeves.

Please help & Thanks in advance

I'm on boy #3 and I have never had a Breakout with any of them. My skin is super clear. I tend to get really oily skin from time to time and just use an astringent on a cotton pad.

I was told that with boys that doesnt really happen and that your skin actually looks better. And at 36 weeks with a boy i havent been having that problem at all. I guess its different for everyone. Try to buy soap for your face wash it day and night. Even if i never got my skin like that i always did that and im ok.

I'm on my 2nd boy and my skin has that 'glow' lol its super clear and very soft to touch. Although in the beginning my back did break out but it sorted itself in the 2nd trimester. I used soap on my back I figure pimples are from oily skin so if I dried out the oil they would go away, I have always used soap on my face aswell has worked better than any pimple face wash I've ever used as a teenager I had really bad skin but my dad told me just use a bar of soap and I've never had a problem since :)

well as for it being only with boys, definitely not true, its just a hormone thing. I an 26 weeks with a little girl and its happening bad to me too, I use phisoderm anti blemish gel facial wash, I can relate when it comes to fair skin, which is why I like this stuff cause its not harsh at all And is PH balanced so it helped calm down the breakouts

Thanks so much. It seems like us "leggo my preggo" behinds are not allowed to take anything. I used to take herbal supplements and essential oils. Not allowed now.  So im nervous now about everything.  Don't want to Use anything that may hurt our precious cargo.

If I hear of any other remedies I will post on this link.

Ashleigh I think my daughter has some of that stuff. I will try it. Thanks again

I was doing good until I hit 29 weeks and now the last week and a half I have broke out under my nose and on my chin.  I got the clean and clear pack from Walmart. It wasn't too expensive and its a foaming wash and good moisturizer which helps with my dry skin from this cold weather in Minnesota
