35 weeks and no money to live

So I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and im a 21 yo student. I have absolutely no money and im starting to panic as i have to pay for rent and food. I applied for MA as i was supposed to but they said that there was such a backlog that my form wouldnt be processed for another month and im unlikely to see payments for another couple of months. I applied for a grant aswell but they lost my form and i only found out today so have to apply again. I dont know what to do. I dont think i have any options right now. My family cant really afford to help me either.

How were you paying your way before you got pregnant?  Has that money stopped coming for some reason?

I agree that you should talk to your doctor or nurse and ask for help filing for assistance.  You don't list what state you live in but some have the COMPASS or other similar programs that you are offered if you apply for Medical Assistance.  It sounds like you really need information on how to access financial support programs in your state.

Can you go to your local courthouse for cash assistance? Especially if you're pregnant they should be able to ask! Also talk to your doctor, they may have some resources for you. It is very stressful though. Me and my boyfriend are in the process of moving because we are struggling with barley any money to live. And I'm 35 weeks as well! Try to do your best mama! But definitely try cash assistance, food stamps and MA
