The best tip I can give you is cayenne pepper!!! Several people in my family have gotten off their meds thanks to cayenne pepper! It really works! Sprinkle it on everything you eat or like some do, drink a glass of warm water or tea with lemon, honey, and at least a teaspoon of cayenne. You'll get results. You can also google it's benefits! Mine is really high when I'm stressed or aggravated.or when I'm nervous. My first pregnancy they had to take it before the appointment and after for about 3 appointments. It's just because I was so nervous.
Besides eating healthy, which you say you're doing, stay active and exercise.
Cut table salt and use sea salt instead. Of course avoid lots of sodium in your diet though.
Since you're early in your pregnancy this may have been chronic hypertension before you became pregnant or was it lower before?
