I think women are proud of overcoming their personal battles with pregnancy and labor, and want an excuse to tell others about it because they are looking for validation.
Personally, my experience was just fine. Nothing out of the ordinary and it is what you make it! Everyone is different

yes agreed with all these ladies. if your doctor isnt worried than you shouldnt be! I went for what I thought was my last ultrasound on the 3rd & the dr said my babys head is measuring small. I was so freaked out and worries that something could be wrong but my doc was not worried he did send me for a blood test to check for infections but he said hes confident that its most likely a scab error. so I'm not worrying about it. my mom on the other hand wants to look on webmd and google anything that could he wrong. I dont want to worry myself to death & plus if something were wrong there is nothing I cab do now anyway and I'll love my baby regardless. so stay calm and only take your docs word for it

Its almost like people feel they have to share all the bad stuff and scare you whitless. Id brush it off. Yes people have bad times but many many more have better. I do think its normal being a little anxious any way but relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Good luck☺

This always happens. There is always someone out there that wants to be a downer about pregnancy. Don't listen to any of it! Yes, maybe something horrible might have happened to one lady, but that doesn't mean it will happen to you. Every pregnancy is different & cannot be compared to one another. Plus, obviously she survived whatever situation that was so horrible due to a fabulous medical staff so have faith that even if something does go wrong or is challenging, that you have amazing people working & taking care of you. Giving birth is hard, but woman have been doing it for hundreds of years....multiple times over. We're built to do this!

Don't listen to them. If your doctor isn't worried about your pregnancy then don't worry. That's why my sisters told me and it actually really helped me. I was worried up until 12 weeks and then after talking to my middle sister I stopped and just went with the flow.

Thank you very much! I just can't stop my mind from worrying the worst. And it doesn't help that everybody wants to tell me things that happened to their cousins or something else that's terrible. I bought all the stuff for the nursery recently and now they made me think that something awful could happen and I won't end up using my baby room :(

ugh I hate when women do this to us!!! i've heard every horror story there is from just about every women in my life who has children. you need to keep calm & listen only to your healthcare professional! stress is the absolute worst thing for your pregnancy so they to stay calm & dont listen to other. of course pregnancy is not a walk in the park but from my own experience (I'm currently 34weeks pregnant FTM) iI have had a wonderful pregnancy thus far. of course i had morning sickness in the beginning & I have heartburn & fatigue ALLOT and hemerroids that are painful lol but other than that my pregnancy is amazing. I dont have trouble sleeping or too mich pain besides occasional sciatica. its all tolerable and worth it in the long run. calm yourself & dont listen to others. every women in different!!! hope this helps. good luck mama
