baby shower themes...

Do baby showers absolutely NEED themes? I don't know if it's just me but I'm not much of a theme person, i like being unique. I feel with themes your very likely to have a friend or coworker or family member to have a similar theme. I shouldn't even be asking though because mine will be a surprise, left to my mom and aunt to decorate, and is a verrry long way from now lmao i just know i dont want an exact theme #imweird :/

My sister planned mine and she asked me what type of theme I'd like and my response was "umm...isn't the theme baby?" Lol, so in my opinion, no I don't think a shower needs a theme. She ended up doing a batman theme cause that's how my husband wants the nursery decorated and it turned out really nice! So I'm happy she planned it and surprised us and it wasn't up to me.

I hate themes and characters lol since my invites had garden flowers on them with a chalkboard font I just went off of that. Had pretty flowers with finger foods. Kept it simple :)

I didn't have a theme with my daughter. The theme was pink lol. Why not just have everything in pink or blue? Sounds good enough to me ♡

Every one is different but I like to think mine was unique my theme was based off of Lion King 2, where Simba and Nala have a girl. I was hardly able to find any decorations so mostly everything was hand made I even made my own invites!  Good Luck with yours though, I think themes are fun and based on how you decorate is what makes it unique or common.
